Sunday, August 1, immediately following Morning Worship, The Green Hill Family is invited to celebrate the 90th Birthday of our dear Claudine Hopper. (No gifts, cards only, please.)

 
Schedule for Wednesday Evening Activities:
3:30 p.m. Children's Bible Club for Grades 1 - 6 has ended for the summer
Youth Fellowship activities have ended for the summer
Wednesday evening activities will be discontinued for the month of July. The Prayer Group, Fellowship Supper, Bible Study and Choir Practice will resume Wednesday, August 4.
The Men's Wednesday Morning Breakfast and Bible Study will continue meeting throughout the summer.
 
Our next Mission Trip to Mexico has been scheduled for Jan. 11 - 19, 2011.
 
New Sunday Morning Fellowship Time
Beginning on Rally Sunday, August 22, Sunday School will start at 9:30 and end at 10:30. Everyone is invited to enjoy Coffee and Fellowship from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m.
 
Children's Church has been discontinued for the summer.
 
Aluminum Can Collection
Aluminum Cans can be donated for recycling to help support the Gladys Moss Memorial Flower Fund. Cans only - no foil or other items - may be placed in the breezeway outside the fellowship hall. The Flower Fund is used to provide flowers for the altar on special occasions.
 
Church Services Available on DVD
Each Sunday service is recorded on DVD. These DVDs may be borrowed from the church office. Copies of the DVDs are available for a five-dollar donation to the Pastor's Discretionary Fund.
 
Sudan Mission Support
The Green Hill Session recently voted to support the Sudan Mission of Make Way Partners to help save as many orphans and widows as possible from the slave traders, famine and warring factions of Southern Sudan.

Healing Services
Scheduled periodic Healing Services are a special part of every Fifth Sunday worship service. Please call the pastor or your elder sponsor if you would like prayer and anointing for healing at any other time.
 

The Boy Scout/Church Bus
The Session has approved the use of the Boy Scout/Church bus by members of the church and their friends to attend various events of interest in the local and nearby-outlying areas. This will include musical programs, theater programs, museums, exhibitions, and other such activities.
The bus will be available to transport church members to the Coffee County Arts Alliance performances in Elba.
Any church member may suggest an activity for consideration. When approved and scheduled, reservation information for the event will be available at the church office. 347-9530.
