Dan
McMillan was born in the West Indies to Baptist missionaries. He
first responded to an invitation to accept Jesus Christ at the age
of four. He feels that throughout his Christian journey learning to
completely surrender his will to Jesus and follow Him have been his
most difficult and also his most rewarding experiences.
Dan holds a Doctorate of Ministry, Marriage and Family, from
Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary, is a graduate of Columbia
Theological Seminary and was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in
1984. He also holds a Masters of Education and has taught at the
junior high school level. He was a district executive for the Boy
Scouts for four years.
He recently retired from the Air National Guard where he served as a chaplain
who
ministered to men and women of all denominations and he is a graduate
of the Air Command and Staff College.
Dan loves the reverence of Presbyterian worship, the emphasis on
the Sovereignty of God in the affairs of humankind and the Reformed
theology and doctrine.
He has been married to his wife, Anita, for 37 years. They
have four children and four grandchildren. The McMillans came to
Enterprise from Rockmart, Ga.
